Easter/Resurrection Day - He Is Risen!
Jesus' Birth - Life - Death & ultimate Resurrection was a fulfillment of numerous biblical prophecies spanning 700-750 YEARS! We celebrate "Easter" in memory of His complete fulfillment of the Law while bearing our burden of sin. We call this day "Resurrection Day" to stay true to the REAL meaning of this story's message. Jesus died for each and everyone of us, so that we may have everlasting life in the presence of our creator God.
John 3:16-17 (NIV) states: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him".
Matthew 28:6 (NKJV) states: "He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay."
